BIGFOOT T-WRECKS

Dave Harkey

Bob & Marilyn Chandler's BIGFOOT #15, is the newest race truck in the BIGFOOT fleet. It made its debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, in November, 1994. BIGFOOT 15 placed 3rd in the 1995 Penda Points Series & in 1996, with the WCW Motorsports sponsored "Hulkster & Stinger" bodies, it locked in an easy 2nd Place, behind BIGFOOT #14. It took its first ever Points Series Championship in 1997 sporting the SNAKEBITE body! In 1998, 15 introduced the FIRESTONE "Wilderness" body to the Points Series. With driver Eric Tack at the wheel, it made the second longest monster truck long jump ever, at 148 feet, 6 inches, and in the process became only the second monster truck to jump over a 727 jetliner, on Sept. 12, 1999. In 2000, BIGFOOT #15 took first place in the new ProMT (Professional Monster Trucks) racing series. In 2001, they took second place, behind teammate Dan Runte and Bigfoot#14. This truck is currently touring the U.S.

I took these pictures in Bloomsburg, Pa. July 2001. This is my favorite modern Bigfoot trucks. Dave did a great job at racing and freestyle.
